Background
With over 30 years experience in the yachting industry, Cara Lees is an expert when it comes to yacht crew placement. Cara reached out to us with a view of starting her own agency however needed digital assistance. Fortunately, we have experience in both recruitment and yachting industries and felt that we would be able to not only provide a solution that would work best for her but also suggest other tools that would improve workflow and applicant tracking.
The Problem
Cara Lees Yacht crew was a new business entirely, from our point of view this gave us a blank canvas to set things up properly from the onset. We were facing a couple of problems, one, Cara was confident with her I.T. skills and felt that anything complicated may be overwhelming. The other problem that we were facing was starting on an entirely new domain with a new website, we needed to get traffic to the website as soon as possible, all from scratch.
The Solution
Firstly, we reccomended a number of tools to assist her with not only the day-to-day running of a recruitment business but also with other tasks, such as managing GDPR compliance. From here we began designing and building the website with all of the tools integrated. We needed a content management system (CMS), a customer relationship management (CRM) system and an applicant tracking system (ATS), all of which had to automatically communicate with Cara’s preferred platform.
With the website built and all integrations working flawlessly we were able to get working on the search engine optimisation for Cara Lees Yacht Crew. Being a new website and domain we had to make an impact so we used every trick in the book to get the website ranking competitively. We have a number of modern techniques that we use and the results have outstanding.
