Formerly part of the Greyhound Trust, RRG is now a completely independent and self-funded rehoming centre. When we first met the directors, they utilised an existing web system provided by the Greyhound Trust. This gave little flexibility with operations.
As a small branch of a larger charity, a significant amount of low-level decision-making is held at the head office, including budgeting. Funds were being raised locally to then be sent to head office, where it would be distributed amongst a large number of other rehoming centres, leaving the Edinburgh branch short on funds often.
The solution to this was to found a new, independent charity. Our strategist and SEO, Jamie, is one of the founders of this new charity, providing all their digital and strategic planning needs.
The charity is now rehoming over one hundred dogs per year and raising more funds than ever before. By having control of their own communications, website and social media etc, they have been able to improve their reach, rehome more dogs and raise more funds.
We will always support Rehoming Retired Greyhounds Scotland; it is something we are passionate about and enjoy tremendously. If you are looking to provide an ex-racing Greyhound with a loving forever home, then please do not hesitate to contact them here.

Rehoming Retired Greyhounds Scotland is a charity based in Edinburgh with the sole purpose of finding retired Greyhounds a loving, forever home following their racing career.
Formerly part of the Greyhound Trust, RRG is now a completely independent and self-funded rehoming centre. When we first met the directors, they utilised an existing web system provided by the Greyhound Trust. This gave little flexibility with operations.

The Problem
Previously the Edinburgh branch for rehoming Greyhounds was run by a much larger organisation, meaning that low-level decision making was impossible. The existing systems did not fit for the needs of this particular branch and funds raised were being sent to head office, leaving the charity with less funds than they had raised.

The Solution – Independence
We have been on board from the founding of this new charity, including rebranding, strategic planning, admin and we’ve even built Rehoming Retired Greyhounds (Scotland) Ltd a new website with the required integrations for accepting donations, improving accounting efficiency. This is all whilst also improving their web presence to increase the local reach and improve awareness for Greyhounds looking for homes. The improved awareness has been game-changing for this small charity. We have assisted RRG with raising over £5000 this year alone (6 months) and we will exceed over 100 dogs successfully rehomed in the year. We are very much looking forward to joining them for more fundraising events and other fun activities.
