Having seen some of our work, we were approached by MINI CHALLENGE. They asked us to redevelop their website in the middle of the race season as it’s wasn’t being updated regularly enough by the previous providers and needed to be updated to suit the new corporate image of MINI UK. We worked alongside MINI CHALLENGE and MINI UK to produce a design that suited the racing series and remained in line with the MINI UK corporate image. The website requires weekly updates to ensure points tables, news articles and information about the race series is up to date as the race season continues.
One of the main features of the website is the Driver Standings, a championship requirement where the information needed to be updated quickly and accurately following a race weekend. We looked at different ways to automate this process and settled with a simple solution. So now, what used to take a number of days or even weeks can be done in a matter of minutes. We’ve received very positive feedback to this and can also add the championship standings to other websites quickly and easily.
